General Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a General Manager to join our team at the Old Gate Inn located in Brassington, Derbyshire. The starting salary for this position is anticipated at £35,000 per year.

Our group is expanding and we have several new venues currently undergoing full renovation. We value promoting from within, so we always have opportunities for advancement.

Key duties include

• Supporting the Operations Director in hiring, training and supervising restaurant employees.
• Creating a staff schedule to ensure appropriate staff levels.
• Overseeing ordering.
• Addressing customer needs, comments and complaints.
• Adhering to and enforcing employee compliance with health and safety standards.
• Ensuring all employees are working within outlined operating standards.
• Confidently manage staff through a busy service and close to include ensuring the security of the building.

Qualifications

• A solid restaurant background working within high level establishments.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• 3-5 years of Food & Beverage service experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of ePOS systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
