Bar Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bar Manager to join our team.

Our group is expanding and we have several new venues currently undergoing full renovation. We value promoting from within, so we always have opportunities for advancement.

Key duties include

• Supporting the General Manager in training and supervising employees.
• Ordering and maintaining adequate stock levels of beverages, ingredients and other bar supplies.
• Conducting regular inventory checks to prevent shortages and overstocking.
• Innovating and updating the drinks menu to keep it fresh and aligned with current trends and customer preferences.
• Continuously seeking ways to improve bar operations and customer satisfaction.

You should be

• Passionate about hospitality and have a desire to expand your existing knowledge
• Knowledgeable about beer, wine and cocktails
• Understand the vital importance of preserving our local pubs.
• Able to build good relationships with both clientele and the team.
• Committed to providing an excellent level of customer service.
• Able to ensure a smooth-running operation.
• Keen to lead your team by example.
• Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks.
• Detail oriented.

Qualifications

• A solid restaurant background working within high level establishments.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• 3-5 years of Food & Beverage service experience.
• Preferably completed WSET training
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of ePOS systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
