Assistant Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team.

Our group is expanding and we have several new venues currently undergoing full renovation. We value promoting from within, so we always have opportunities for advancement.

Key duties include

• Supporting the General Manager in training and supervising employees.
• Addressing customer needs, comments and complaints.
• Adhering to and enforcing employee compliance with health and safety standards.
• Ensuring all employees are working within outlined operating standards.
• Confidently manage staff through a busy service and close to include ensuring the security of the building.

You should be

• Passionate about hospitality and have a desire to expand your existing knowledge
• Understand the vital importance of preserving our local pubs.
• Knowledgeable about food and wine.
• Able to build good relationships with both clientele and the team.
• Committed to providing an excellent level of customer service.
• Able to ensure a smooth-running operation.
• Keen to lead your team by example.
• Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks.
• Detail oriented.

Qualifications

• A solid restaurant background working within high level establishments.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• 3-5 years of Food & Beverage service experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of ePOS systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
